Listed here are the terms and conditions of any Workshop 15 product. Before placing your order, please carefully read through these. When an order is placed through Workshop 15, you are agreeing to the terms and conditions.
Due to the nature of hand-made work, there may be slight deviations from product to product. This means that any product listed on this website may appear slightly differently in person. This also means that on the product there may be slight signs of it being handmade such as minor tooling marks etc. However, due care is taken to reduce these as much as possible. Furthermore, while all care is taken to ensure so, certain dimensions such as box dimensions may not be 100% accurate – i.e. a 12cm long box may deviate by 5mm either way. However, if the measurements given are critical, all care will be taken to ensure that the measurements do not exceed the bounds given by the customer.
Depending on the product, a deposit may be needed to be taken before any work is carried out. This is to cover the costs of the materials and to ensure that I will not be out of pocket if an unexpected situation were to arise where payment could not be fully met. This applies mainly to custom made items. The outstanding payment will be taken once the product is completed, before shipment.
Payment can be in the form of cash on collection/delivery or direct bank transfer. Payment amount will be agreed upon under correspondence.
I will send a confirmation email to you when the order has been placed and deposit has been paid (if necessary).
While best efforts are taken to ensure that deadlines are met, please remember that I am only human, and situations do sometimes arise, whereby the order may take a little longer to complete. In this situation, you will be notified. Furthermore, due to the nature of custom work, I will not be able to provide you with exact dates, instead I will be able to give you a rough timeline.
Some orders will offer some personalisation such as inlays. In the unlikely event that you find a spelling mistake in the personalisation, let me know as soon as possible and I will see what can be done to correct this. However, if the error has arisen due to copying a personalisation error that the customer has made, I am in no obligation to fix this. Therefore, please ensure that any personalisation is correct before sending it to me.
Once an order is confirmed and a deposit has been paid, I am not obliged to provide a refund if the order is later cancelled. Furthermore, once payment for the completed item is received, no refunds may be taken in any circumstance.
All orders are shipped using a tracked service from Royal Mail. Postage and packaging prices will vary depending on the size and weight of the product. This will be reflected in the product cost.
If desired, orders may be collected for free. You will have to make this clear when paying for the item. If we agree upon a price including postage earlier in the product development stage, and it is later decided that you will pick up, no refund shall be given to reimburse postage costs.
Orders will only be available for delivery/collection once any outstanding payment has been received.
